I love the World Music Pedagogy boo...Hi Elizabeth! I love the World Music Pedagogy books but the other book I am struggling with. Part of my struggle seems to be that the book is focused on high school students. The other part I am struggling with is that he seems to disregard teacher expectations in parts of the book. It is not an easy read as there is a great deal of specialized language - nonidigeniety, etc. Basic ideas are solid and I so very much appreciate his focus on students and it is very powerful!
